I have to say that I have tried ccNewsletter and it is fairly straight forward to implement. Having the benefit of no subscriber limits and the ability to send out as many newsletters you want per month is a plus for sure but the idea was to find new contenders in the market and I sure did find the Mailchimp plugins for Joomla! to be interesting options specially for those who want to have detailed stats on the click throughs, etc.
